The Renaissance Show is exclusively for Black-owned brands, defined as being at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by one or more individuals of Black descent. We recognise that many of the brands we support are still emerging and may face financial limitations. While our dream is to fully sponsor the runway experience, we currently operate on a minimal budget with limited external funding. At this stage, participating brands are required to contribute €250 towards the runway. This amount supports a portion of the production costs, while BAC covers the rest through tickets and sponsorships. With this combined effort, we’re able to provide essentials such as limited logistics support for out-of-town models, professional beauty team for hair care and makeup, backstage care, stage management and security, photography and styling, and a backdrop area for brand look shoots. After the show, all brands are credited on our channels and granted access to professional media for branding purposes. By clicking Proceed, you acknowledge and accept these terms. The Renaissance runway participation is exclusively for Black models, defined as individuals of Black African, African American, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, or other African diasporic descent. As we operate on a minimal budget with limited sponsorship, we are currently unable to offer financial compensation or engage in paid agreements with modelling agencies. That said, we’re committed to supporting our models with meaningful exposure to fellow talent, brands, and professionals across fashion, beauty, hospitality, and project management, as well as a diverse guest audience. During the event, models are well cared for with refreshments, hospitality, and, in some cases, travel support for those coming from outside Berlin. After the show, we credit all models on our social channels to help them benefit from post-event engagement and provide professional photos and videos to enhance their personal branding and portfolios.
